The aim of the event was to raise awareness and questions about how our clothing is made, who makes it, and what the consequences are for everyone in the supply chain. The event also raised money for The Rehema project in Tanzania – which works with vulnerable women, to provide textiles training, so they can earn a sustainable income. All proceeds from Rehema go back into the local community to provide water wells, emergency aid and feeding programs for local schools.
